Position Overview
As a Tax Manager , you will be responsible for managing client tax engagements, reviewing returns, mentoring staff accountants, and providing strategic advisory services to both business and individual clients.
Key Responsibilities
Review complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns
Lead tax planning and advisory engagements
Manage multiple client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact
Conduct tax research and provide strategic recommendations
Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients
Oversee engagement deadlines, workflow, and profitability
Qualifications
710 years of public tax accounting experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting required
CPA strongly preferred
Experience reviewing tax returns , not just preparation
Strong expertise in business and individual taxation and tax planning
Proven client advisory and consultative skills
Leadership experience with staff mentoring and development
Strong project management and relationship-building abilities

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
