Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Director of FP&A, Corporate G&A & Compensation to join our Finance team in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for leading the monthly, quarterly and annual corporate G&A financial process, including review, variance analysis, and driving meaningful process improvements. A key focus will be compensation planning and modeling across both corporate and property management functions.
This position will also own the annual budget and reforecast processes, inclusive of compensation and administrative expenses across all departments. The role requires deep expertise in financial modeling, strong executive communication skills, and the ability to effectively partner with internal leaders and Blackstone.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a proven ability to design and execute scalable, efficient processes that consistently deliver decision-ready insights.
What You Will Do:
The Director will lead enterprise-level financial planning and analysis for Corporate G&A and compensation, delivering clear, decision-ready insights on performance across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. This role will own the G&A review process, including variance analysis, forecasting, and identification of key risks and opportunities, while driving compensation planning and modeling across corporate and property management functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional team through the preparation and review of the Corporate G&A budget, including a reforecast on a rolling and semi-annual basis; communicate deviations from budget and reforecast to senior leadership and Blackstone with clear, actionable plans.
- Track and report of integration savings, as well as assist in identifying savings opportunities.
- Own end-to-end compensation planning and modeling across corporate and property management functions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and financial objectives
- Responsible for enterprise-level reporting and analytics, ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables are accurate, consistent, and strategically aligned for executive leadership and key stakeholders. Establishing new process post-integration will be necessary.
- Provide property and fund level reporting and analysis for budget, reforecast and actual results.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, proactively influencing enterprise strategy and performance outcomes.
- Partner with HR, Finance Systems, and IT to enhance and optimize FP&A and compensation planning tools and systems, driving automation, data integrity, and reporting efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes, enhancing scalability through standardization, documentation, cross-training, and team development.

What You Will Bring:
- 10+ years of progressive experience, including at least 5 years in compensation planning
- Modeling complex compensation structures preferred
- Private equity experience preferred
- Proven success building and leading high-performing FP&A teams
- Ability to handle highly sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex, data-driven insights clearly and concisely to senior leadership and external stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Advanced analytical and technical skills, including expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong finance and accounting fundamentals
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive results
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- CFA, CPA, or CMA preferred.

- Expected base salary of $190,000-210,000 plus annual 20% bonus. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
