Their firm caters to entrepreneurs and middle-market companies across various industry sectors, including consumer products, healthcare, technology, and industrial. They are seeking a highly motivated and talented Investment Banking Consumer Associate to join our Beauty and Personal Care team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with industry leaders and emerging brands in the beauty and personal care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Execution: Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including preparing pitch books, financial models, and marketing materials. Conduct due diligence and coordinate with clients, buyers, and other stakeholders.
  • Industry Research: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on the beauty and personal care industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Client Interaction : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Provide exceptional client service and support throughout the transaction process.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze company performance, valuation, and potential transaction outcomes. Perform detailed financial analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior bankers and other team members to ensure seamless execution of transactions. Contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience : 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance, preferably with a focus on consumer sectors. Experience in the beauty and personal care industry is highly desirable.
  • Skills : Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Attributes : Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
