The IT Requisition & Asset Manager is responsible for managing technology assets and service support across the district. This role oversees asset management, purchasing, deployment, and technology service operations to ensure smooth IT function for staff and students. The position requires commitment to customer service, process efficiency, and technological innovation to support district-wide IT tasks. This position tracks ordering, purchasing, and deployment of technology to ensure protocols and processes are followed.

SALARY: Level 7 on the Technology Services Salary Schedule. Experience increments depend on experience in the same or similar position. Responsibilities
- Provide timely responses to technology-related inventory and purchasing inquiries from district staff via email, phone, and other communication methods.
- Act as the primary contact for technology purchases and procurement for Technology Services, ITSC, and district sites.
- Assist in communication regarding ITSC parts inventory changes, ensuring protocol adherence and documentation for IT technicians.
- Process requisitions and credit card orders, ensuring efficient procurement and adherence to district standards and budget guidelines.
- Assist in the coordination of annual technology deployments as well as special district technology projects ensuring effective execution and resource allocation.
- Research, recommend, and ensure proper testing of equipment and software for district standards evaluation.
- Ensure compliance of technology purchasing and maintenance contracts and renewals, updating relevant documentation and informing management of updates.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing regulations and state laws regarding technology acquisitions.
- Oversee, manage, and track technology assets within the district, ensuring compliance with asset management procedures and lifecycle replacement processes.
- Conduct routine internal and external audits to ensure technology is being accounted for and processes are being followed.
- Manage IT parts stock for internal and external customers, ensuring budget practices are followed.
- Ensure all technology orders and deliveries are accurately recorded in the asset management system.
- Monitor technology movement in and out of the ITSC warehouse and enforce quality control measures to ensure effective deployment.
- Manage 1:1 device deployments for staff and students, including organizing and preparing replacements for timely delivery.
- Coordinate hardware purchases, track related expenses, forecast budgets, and provide financial reporting and recommendations with IT leadership.
- Provide project information for project planning and execution, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress.
- Meet with vendors to gather information for IT ordering and support to ensure supportability and device lifecycle keeping leadership and stakeholders informed as changes are necessary.
- Ensure proper device lifecycles are being maintained by the IT program from purchase to surplus.
- Oversee ITSC Self-Maintainer and ADP warranty programs, ensuring IT staff have necessary parts, training and adherence to vendor contracts.
- Assist leadership in developing IT project plans for district capital improvement projects.
- Oversee, manage, and lead the day to day receiving, preparation and deployment of staff and student technology.
- Ensure safe, organized and efficient use of the Warehouse space.
- Coordinate daily task assignments in collaboration with the ITSC Supervisor for Warehouse Assistants and Tier 1 Technology Support Specialists.
- Ensure Training and Assignment for IT interns working in the warehouse.
- Provide onboarding and procedural training support for Warehouse staff and Tier 1 Support Specialists, in coordination with the ITSC Supervisor.
- Ensure all technology orders and deliveries are accurately recorded in the asset management system.
- Ensure district vehicles and delivery equipment are properly cared for.
- Manage and maintain district and site level inventory reporting for district staff usage.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- 4-6 years of experience in IT asset management and/or IT purchasing in a large multi-site organization.
- A four-year degree in a technology-related field may substitute for 3 years of experience.
- A two-year degree in a technology-related field may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- Industry-standard certifications may substitute for up to 1 year of higher education per certification.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to complete Lenovo Self-Maintainer warranty program certification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- The ability to lift 50 pounds and work at a desk for extended periods.
- Valid drivers license, insurable status, and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to support users of varying technical proficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with all levels of staff.
- Experience in a school environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- A+ Certification.
- ITIL Foundations, ITSM, or Asset Management Certification.
- Proficiency with asset management software (e.g., Frontline Asset Management, SCCM, Absolute, Intune, Tableau, Power BI).
- Project management experience with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
