CFO Darien, CT - On Site CFO Leadership Role Compensation: $290-320 along with a high level bonus plan Company offers: Collaborative Environment, Top Tier Benefits with many perks Position Summary: One of Vaco' s premiere clients is a looking for a savvy CFO to help lead the team. The CFO will be the financial face of the organization, overseeing all financial operations, including capital management, financial planning, risk oversight, and compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will drive financial growth, scalability, and investor relations. This is a high-impact leadership role for a finance executive with an executive presence and deep experience in the financial sector: banking, fintech, PE, alternative lending, or structured finance. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's growth initiatives and risk framework. Oversee capital management, securitizations, and structured credit facilities to optimize liquidity and funding strategies. Provide strategic guidance on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), leading financial due diligence and integration planning. Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure adherence to lending regulations, compliance frameworks, and financial reporting standards in collaboration with the CCO. Investor & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with institutional investors, banks, funding partners, and regulators. Provide insights on long-range economic trends and their impact on future growth, market share, and financial positioning. Operational & Treasury Management: Direct the preparation of all financial statements, shareholder reports, tax filings, and regulatory submissions. Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management, liquidity planning, and approval of capital outlays. Manage all corporate insurance policies and financial risk exposure. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and CPA designation a plus. 10+ years of finance leadership experience in the financial sector Strong expertise in capital markets, structured finance, and securitizations. Deep understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance frameworks. Experience leading FP&A, risk management, investor relations, and due diligence. Proficiency in financial technology solutions, automation tools, and AI-driven underwriting models. M&A experience, including financial modeling, deal structuring, and post-merger integration. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and leadership skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence executive teams and external stakeholders.
