Position Overview - ON SITE POSITIONWere seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Transportation Pricing Analyst to support freight and operational finance across the U.S. and international supply chain. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate freight reporting, data analysis, and collaboration with global operations teams to optimize transportation cost and performance. Salary $85,000-$95,000.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage month-end close activities related to both freight and operational expenses
Perform detailed freight account reconciliations and review carrier aging reports
Serve as a liaison with carriers to resolve disputes, claims, and outstanding balances
Conduct freight bill audits and act as the primary point of contact for third-party freight auditors
Analyze parcel and LTL shipping costs (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) and report on trends
Develop and maintain KPIs including:
Freight cost per unit
On-time service performance
Freight returns analysis
Coordinate freight-related activities with international teams, including Asia-based operations
Lead or support projects aimed at improving transportation finance and freight contract strategies
Assist with LTL contract reviews and FAK rate analyses
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
35 years of experience in financial analysis, logistics finance, or cost accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles related to transportation and logistics
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas)
Proficiency with SQL and Power BI for data modeling and reporting
Experience collaborating with operational teams in a financial support role
Demonstrated ability to manage data-driven projects involving transportation systems
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with enterprise content management systems such as Docstar
Background in freight auditing and process improvement
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
