Assistant Controller

Position: Assistant Controller

Location: Columbus, OH

We are looking for an Assistant Controller with progressive construction company experience in the Columbus, OH area. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial statement consolidations, and month-end close. The Assistant controller will streamline month-end close and the financial reporting process.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close including all revenue and cost related accounts, margin analysis and timely reporting of results
• Ensure reporting requirements and deadlines are met
• Manage accounts payable, invoicing and collections activities
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards and Sarbanes Oxley controls relative to areas of responsibility

Requirements:

• Experience with financial statement consolidations, and month-end close
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience
• Viewpoint software experience preferred
