Tax Analyst Jobs in Pennsylvania
A Tax Analyst in the finance industry is responsible for helping businesses and individuals adhere to tax regulations by understanding complex tax laws, conducting thorough tax research, and preparing tax returns. A Tax Analyst should have a strong background in accounting or finance and should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of tax software and databases, as well as proficiency in MS Office, is important. They should also have good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and time management skills. Regarding qualifications, many employers require a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus. Prior positions that may lead to a role as a Tax Analyst include Tax Associate, Junior Tax Accountant, or Financial Analyst.
