Financial Reporting & Close Process
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Execute key components of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards (IFRS).
- Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor requests.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory, tax, and financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain and enhance documentation supporting financial reporting processes and controls.
- Manage financial consolidations, including intercompany transactions and eliminations where applicable.
- Research and apply technical accounting guidance for complex transactions.
- Support the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of internal controls over financial reporting.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Support automation initiatives and optimization of ERP and reporting systems.
- Provide analysis of financial results, including variance analysis and key performance indicators.
- Partner with FP&A to ensure alignment between financial reporting and forecasting.
- Support management reporting and preparation of materials for senior leadership.
- Analyze trends and KPIs to support strategic decision-making
About You
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- CPA designation (or equivalent) preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting processes and supporting audits.
- Experience in a retail, multi-location, or distribution environment preferred.
$85,000 - $90,000/year
