Your Role & Responsibilities: Produce various financial reports, capitalize GL decisions and charts, report variances, etc. on a monthly basis and presents to CFO prior to board presentation as well as on an as-needed basis for management. Performs all necessary reconciliations and makes entries to close books on a monthly basis prior to reporting deadline. Also closes books annually as part of the audit process. Assist Accounting Staff to ensure a system of accounts payable to include sorting, reviewing and processing vendor invoices, department purchase orders, pay vouchers, check registers, ledgers and other applicable financial records and approve AP each week. Participate in budgeting process for organization, monitor budget transactions, and work with supervisor to ensure funds are available in bank accounts for purchases and disbursements. Reconciles account balances for the purpose of maintaining accurate balances and complying with related policies, practices and/or regulations. Responsible for implementing and reviewing controls for transactions completed by others such as deposits, cash non-resident posting, I/C transfers, cash forecasting and reconciliation, mortgage balancing, trust balancing, balance and transfer customer CC purchases, shared employee transfers, and petty cash as needed.
