This position can be worked remotely. Please note this position can only be worked remotely from the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin.
This position will be responsible for assisting with short and long term forecasting and budget functions. This individual will assist in planning and reporting including budget preparation and monthly reforecasts. This position will also be responsible for development and maintenance of budget schedules, reclasses and accruals globally. They will assist with financial insights and analysis. They will also maintain the contract management tracking in Smartsheet with Communication to Corporate Legal. This individual will also manage the financial Standard Operating Procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly reforecasts.
Maintain budget schedule globally.
Assist with monthly accruals and reclasses submitted to Corporate Finance.
Assist in running Oracle and Kronos reports.
Assist in Purchase Requisition process with coding approvals and routing.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for department functions.
Assist in Contract Management tracking and communication with Corporate Legal.
Assist in completing financial analysis as needed.
Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt values.
Qualifications
Experience:
2 years of financial budget and forecasting experience preferred.
Computer Skills Needed:
Strong to advanced excel skills preferred.
Experience with financial systems such as Oracle preferred.
Experience with Smartsheet preferred.
Additional Comments and Requirements:
Proven ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization, including frontline supervisors, senior level management, Corporate Finance, and outside vendors.
Must be highly motivated and organized with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under short deadlines.
Must be open minded and be able to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate meetings with leaders globally.
Ability to travel in needed for budget. Planning, and/or training sessions.
Wage Information:
The hourly rate for this position starts at $26.00. This position is eligible to earn overtime.
The final pay rate offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
