This would be a perfect role for an experienced tax professional that is comfortable working with a wealth management firm's high-net-worth clients in preparing form1040, 1041, 1065 and 1120S tax returns. The right individual for the position will have a sense of ownership in growing the tax department in a small team setting. A nice, collegial work environment with reasonable, life balance, work hours during all periods of the year is provided. The position is full time and on-site at the company's uptown Dallas location. The anticipated compensation range for the position is $90,000 to $120,000, but it could be higher if warranted by the candidate's experience. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax compliance and planning with 1040, 1041, 1120S and 1065 tax forms Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations related to personal income tax, partnership tax, trust and estate, some corporations Experience with tax software and tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication and leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Taxation or a related field Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm Experience with international tax compliance Knowledge of tax planning strategies
